Huwelijksverjaardag/Anniversary | Rhodé

Hoi, – Hi,

Onlangs hadden we feest omdat twee van mijn ooms en tantes 50 jaar getrouwd waren. De twee echtparen vierden het samen en we waren uitgenodigd voor een gezellig familiefeest. Voor beide bruidsparen maakte ik eenzelfde kaart. – Recently we had a party because two of my uncles and aunts were married for 50 years. The two couples celebrated together and we were invited to a nice family party. I made the same card for both couples. 

Om te beginnen emboste ik een ranonkel uit de ‘ranonkel set’ met goud. Ik blende een achtergrond van boven naar onder, van donker naar licht met geel en oranje. Ik vond het wel een mooie combinatie met het goud. Ik spetterde nog wat oranje spetters om de achtergrond wat minder saai te maken. – To start, I embossed a ranunculus from the “ranonkel” (= ranunculus) set with gold. I blended a background from top to bottom, dark to light with yellow and orange. I thought it was a nice combination with the gold. I splashed some more orange to make the background a little less boring. 

Uit mijn bakje met DP koos ik een aantal kleine strookjes papier die ik boven en onder elkaar rangschikte. Op zwart papier emboste ik met goud de tekst ‘gefeliciteerd’ uit de set ‘proficiat’. Uit dezelfde set koos ik de tekst ‘met jullie huwelijksverjaardag’. Die emboste ik ook met goud, maar dan op een strookje wit cardstock. – From my tray of PP, I chose several small strips of paper that I arranged above and below each other. On black paper I embossed with gold the text ‘congratulations’ from the set ‘proficiat’. From the same set I chose the text “with your wedding anniversary”. I embossed that with gold as well, but on a strip of white cardstock. 

Ten slotte blende ik nog een ampersand teken in een bijpassende kleur. Zo werd het een feestelijke kaart! – Finally, I blended an ampersand sign in a matching color. This made it a festive card!
