Gewoon even hallo/Just hello | Rhodé

Hoi! – Hi!

Vandaag mag ik jullie weer iets laten zien. Deze keer heb ik de mooie ‘hallo’-set gebruikt. Een superfijne set, door een heel aantal verschillende teksten. Ik heb heel regelmatig dat ik iemand even een kaartje wil sturen om hem of haar een hart onder de riem te steken, te laten weten dat ik aan iemand denk, enz. Dan merk ik dat veel teksten op mijn kaartjes net niet helemaal geschikt zijn. Maar ‘hallo’ kan natuurlijk altijd. – Today I can show you something again. This time I used the lovely ‘hallo’ set. It’s a very nice set, because it has a lot of different texts. I often want to send someone a card to give them a boost, to let them know I’m thinking about them, etc. I then find that many of the texts on my cards are just a little bit too vague. I then notice that many of the texts on my cards are not quite appropriate. But ‘hello’ is always an option, of course.

Op dit kaartje koos ik voor de tekst: ‘gewoon even hallo’. Op een uitgestanste rechthoek maakte ik een watercolor achtergrond op een deel van de kaart. Ik gebruikte hiervoor drie kleuren. – For this card, I chose the text: ‘Just a quick hello’. On a cut-out rectangle I made a watercolour background on part of the card. I used three colours for this.

Ik heb zelf geen waterverf, maar gebruikte hiervoor mijn Zigs. Ik kleurde wat op mijn acrylblok en nam de inkt er vervolgens met een natte kwast af. Ik klodderde wat op mijn papier met geel, groen en blauw. – I do not have watercolours, but used my Zigs for this. I coloured some on my acrylic block and then took the ink off with a wet brush. I splashed some on my paper with yellow, green and blue.

Nadat het opgedroogd was, heb ik de bloem er op gestempeld. Tenslotte de tekst. Het geheel plakte ik op een net iets groter kaartje. Uiteraard is dit kaartje inmiddels al weer uit de voorraad verdwenen 😉 – After it dried, I stamped the flower on it. Finally the text. I glued the whole thing onto a slightly larger card. Of course this card has already disappeared from our stock 😉
