Zomerse flamingo/Summer flamingo | Willeke

Hallo allemaal, – Hi everybody,

Wij zijn hier aan het aftellen voor de zomervakantie. Nog 1.5 week knallen en dan in de rust. Even niet de wekker zetten. Heerlijk! ik heb er nu al zin in. Voor deze inspiratie blog ben ik gaan werken in de zomerse kleuren. Lekker vrolijk voor deze tijd van het jaar en dat wou ik even uitstralen. – We’re counting down to the end of the school year here. Just one more week and then rest. No alarm clock in the morning. Perfect! I’m looking forward to it. For the inspiration in this blog post I started working with summer colors. Cheerful for this time of year and that’s exactly what I was aiming for.

Ik ben begonnen met een witte basiskaart van 13 bij 13 cm op maat te snijden. Op deze kaart heb ik een stuk roze cardstock geplakt van 12,5 bij 12,5 cm. Daarna sneed ik weer een stuk witte cardstock van 12 bij 12 cm. Dit witte cardstock heb ik bewerkt met een stencil uit eigen voorraad in de kleuren roze en geel.  Uit de aquarel flamingo stempelset heb ik de flamingo gemaakt en deze drie keer uit gestanst om hem op te hogen. – I started out with a white base card of 13×13 cm. I adhered a piece of pink cardstock of 12.5×12.5 cm onto this card. And then cut a piece of white cardstock of 12x12cm, onto which I used a stencil and pink and yellow ink. From the Aquarel flamingo (= Watercolor flamingo) stamp set I used one of the flamingo and added some extra layers for a 3D effect.
