You Mean The World | Studio Tekturek DT

Happy Tuesday!! How are you doing today? I’m happy to have you stopping by today, as I’m sharing a layout that was on the Studio Tekturek blog a couple of days ago. I started out with that beautiful sunburst paper from the One Way Ticket collection, and a fun picture of my son, being silly on the age of 1,5 years old. This picture always makes me smile. I still remember that day perfectly, the fun he had playing peek-a-boo with the camera. And look at those two tiny teeth – he was such a late bloomer for teething and talking;)

I took the adventurous road for this page, and decided to go for a round picture. After adhering my picture to the center of the sunburst, I first accentuated some of the rays of the design with a little machine stitching down the center. I also looked for a handful of one line sentiments in my stamp stash and stamped them here and there around the picture following the rays of the patterned paper.

I found those older small alphabet stickers by American Crafts in my stash. The blue was perfect to go with the colors of this One Way Ticket paper. Apart from the label stickers and the badge, that are both from Studio Tekturek, I went looking for a couple more green and blue embellishments to make a cluster right next to my picture.

I hope you’re all doing well. I have just a few more days of work, before I have a bit of summer break myself. I’m so looking forward to it. Are you on summer leave right now? Or already back at work perhaps? What is/was on the agenda for your days off?

Els.
