Welcome Sweet Baby

A while back I bought some of those gorgeous Pink Paislee cutting files and of course played with them for a while. These are amazing to say the least. I liked them on screen and love them in real life. I made some cards.

On this first card I used the Hearts In Circles file and made it small enough to fit my card front. I cut it out of white cardstock, put it on dimensional adhesive and backed it up with fabulous bright pink patterned paper from Crate Paper. The sentiment I used for all 3 cards is from Ali Adwards’ Sweet Baby set.

For this second card I used pretty much the same supplies, as I really liked how the first one turned out. I thought the gold, white and pink made a good combination. The ‘little one’ words are from the Baby Brackets set.

I put the words on little pieces of dimensional adhesive to make it stand out better. The splatters on the background are made with Glimmer Mist and golden Stickles.

For this last card I used the negatives of the first card. The Hearts In Circles cut leaves you with a mountain of cute little heart, too fabulous not to use. I aimed for a more boyish color scheme for this last card.

The strip of patterned paper is from BasicGrey’s Hey Boy collection. I applied golden Stickles to one of the hearts, an extra festive touch.

I love how versatile these cutting files are. Pink Paislee has added a lot more beautiful files to the store since I bought these ones. So I think I might have to check them out some time *wink*.
