Hoi! – Hi!

Daar ben ik weer met een nieuwe kaart voor jullie. Eén van onze kinderen ging naar een kinderfeestje en de jarige vroeg geld. Dat wilde ik niet zomaar in een envelop doen, dus maakte ik een kaart. – Here I am again with a new card for you. One of our children went to a children’s party and the birthday boy asked for money. I didn’t want to just put that in an envelope, so I made a card. 

Uit een wat ouder papierblokje zocht ik wat dessins bij elkaar. Ik plakte het papier met de feesthoedjes op de basiskaart. Uit wit cardstock en oranje DP stanste ik een rechthoek van eenzelfde formaat. Van de oranje rechthoek sneed ik een stuk af en stanste ik er een halve cirkel uit. Met het Oswald Alfabet stempelde ik de tekst ‘van harte’. Dat is zo leuk met die losse letters: je kunt iedere tekst maken die je wilt! – From an older paperpad I found some designs. I glued the paper with the party hats onto the base card. From white cardstock and orange DP I punched a rectangle of the same size. From the orange rectangle I cut a piece and punched out a half circle. With the Oswald Alphabet I stamped the text “van harte”. That’s so much fun with those loose letters: you can make any text you want!

Het oranje DP plakte ik aan de randjes vast op het witte stukje cardstock, zodat er ruimte ontstond om het geld in te stoppen. Met een blauw stukje DP plakte ik het geheel op de basiskaart. – I glued the orange DP at the edges to the white piece of cardstock, creating space to put the money in. With a blue piece of DP, I glued the whole thing to the base card.
