Hoi allemaal, hopelijk hebben jullie een goeie maandag dusver. Vandaag mag ik jullie weer een projectje tonen. Ik maakte een dubbele scrapbook pagina. Mijn album voor dit jaar is een Life Crafted album van Citrus Twist, een kleiner formaat dus. – Hi all, I hope you’re having a great Monday so far. Today it’s my turn again to share a project with you all. I made a double scrapbook page. My album for this year is a Life Crafted album from Citrus Twist, so a smaller format.

Ik zette mijn camera aan tijdens het scrappen, zodat jullie mijn proces kunnen volgen als je dat wil. Veel kijkplezier! – I turned on my camera while creating, so that you can follow my process if you wish. Have fun watching!

Ik maakte gebruik van dessinpapier en embellishments uit mijn voorraad. Daarnaast kwam de Nee! stempelset heel goed van pas voor deze dubbele pagina over mijn zoon zijn covid-besmetting. – I used patterned paper and embellishments from my stash. Apart from that I used the ‘Nee!’ (=no!) stamp set, which has sentiments like ‘everything will be fine’, ‘yikes’, ‘tomorrow’s a new day’. Since this spread is about my son’s covid-infection, so this stamp set came in very handy.

Zeker in deze tijden is het niet altijd allemaal rozegeur en maneschijn. Ook die verhalen verdienen soms een plekje in ons album, vind ik. Ze maken gewoon deel uit van ons leven. Leggen jullie ook wel minder goeie dingen vast in jullie albums? – Especially in times like these, life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns. I think those stories deserve a spot in our albums as well. They’re part of our life. Do you document the not so bright stories?
