Spring Blog Hop | A Flair For Buttons

spring 2014 blog hop banner

Hi! Welcome to the A Flair For Buttons Spring Blog Hop. You should have come here hopping from Diane Payne’s blog. I have prepared a mini-album for today’s blog hop. I had a bunch of pictures from when my daughter had turned two, so I made them into a fun mini-book for her.

To prevent that this post would become too photo heavy, I made a little video of the mini-album.

I fell in love with those Capture Life 1 flairs from the minute I saw them. I’m totally addicted to watercolor effects for the moment, and I knew they were going to come in very handy for scrapping about my pink-loving girl. And yes, they did. The camera images are just too cute.

I also used some of the Script Words flair and the Chalkboard Day In My Life flair. Both sets are very versatile, and I’ve used them on many different projects. I’m practically out of them by now, I will need to order some more soon;)

What a sweet album! Your daughter is such a cutie and I love how each picture has it’s own page and lots of great embellishments! The flair you used are just right and add so much meaning to your pages! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring! I’ve not finished a mini album yet, but yours really has me thinking about what I could do!

LOVE This mini! I am thinking of scraplifting this idea to scrap my 4th of July pics this month…can you tell me the size of your mini? It looks bigger than the PL size cards cause it looks like you used PL cards in it as well…Thanks so much

      Hi Vernetta,

Thank you very much for your sweet words!
My mini is 13×15 cms or 5 1/8 x 6 inches. I indeed used a bunch of PL cards, but I chose on adding some bigger pages too.
I kind of like a mix of page sizes for a mini-album.
Have fun with it! I hope you’ll share when finished!
