Hi there! Welcome back to a new Project Life week. Thank you for your enthousiasm over last week’s Project Life post. I loved finally sharing some of my pages. For this week I have Week 24 to share with you.
Week 24 started with the ending of our weekend trip, so the left spread still has lots of pictures from that trip. I again worked mainly with my Studio Calico June Project Life kit, and added in a bunch of embellishments from the Freckled Fawn Oh Deer Me embellishment kit and from my own stash.
Still swooning over those watercolor style cards from Studio Calico;) I used one of the 4×6 ones to add the week and dates to it. The letter stickers are from an older Amy Tangerine collection. I love that they’re vellum.
The black-and-white picture is I shared on my Instagram while we were on our trip. It shows the view that we had from our bedroom while we were away, and I really wanted to add it to my album. So I printed a small size and added it to one of the journaling cards. I also stuck down a heart from Chickaniddy Crafts, which is so cute. Next to that, a face I just wanted to remember. I think they enjoyed our little getaway.
And here’s the right side:
We were back home on Monday evening, Tuesday the kids went back to school for their few final weeks before summer break. Nora took a trip to the beach with school and got to celebrate her birthday in school. At the top left of this page you see her preparing her treats she was going to take to school. She came back home with her face painted.
Tuur went to the playground with his class. I downloaded the pictures from that day from the school’s website. It’s fun to get a glimpse of that day into our Project Life album. One of the journaling cards tells a not so happy story from that week, also that deserves a spot in our Project Life album.
My week 25 spread, which is the next one in line after this one, was already on my blog a while back. You can always go back and take a look. I hope to be sharing week 26 with you soon. Thanks for popping in!
PS: Since these Project Life spreads are often made with little bits and pieces found here and there in my pile of stash, I’m not going to write down a list of supplies for these posts. If you have a question about any of the elements I used, you can leave it in the comments section below, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Project Life is a memory keeping system and a lifestyle created by Becky Higgins. You can read more about it here. This is my interpretation of the project. Check here to view my previous Project Life posts.
