This has been the most difficult week yet of this Photo-A-Day journey. Even though this was a week with no school and should have delivered a lot of fun and playful pictures, a bunch of nasty germs spoiled the fun. Nora was quite sick last weekend, but was feeling better by wednesday. My husband however had a severe case of the flu, with scary high fever, which has taken him about all week to overcome. I had no picture on monday, to be honest. And up until thursday, I struggled to get at least one picture taken a day. * Deze week is de al moeilijkste week geweest in dit Photo-A-Day avontuur. Hoewel dit een week zonder school was en dus een hoop leuke speelse foto’s zou hebben kunnen opleveren, kwamen een aantal venijnige virussen roet in het eten gooien. Nora was vorig weekend goed ziek, maar voelde zich tegen woensdag beter. Mijn echtgenoot had echter een ernstige griep te pakken met hoge koorts, waarvoor hij bijna de hele week nodig had om hem te verslaan. Ik had, eerlijk gezegd, geen foto op maandag. En tot donderdag heb ik heel erg mijn best moeten doen om toch minstens één foto per dag te maken.
Week 8 lacks color if you ask me. 1. Tuur, showing off his new tooth. He has three now. 2. No help with my card pictures today, hubby is too sick. 3. Tuur has found a way to cross the house walking without the help of an adult. 4. Total ‘blergh’ day. 5. Using these on a layout, the top one is still my favorite. 6. Playing with aunt Karien at grandpa’s birthday dinner. 7. Pancakes for dinner. Yumm! * Week 8 kon wat meer kleur gebruiken als je’t mij vraagt. 1. Tuur toont zijn nieuwe tand. Hij heeft er nu drie. 2. Geen hulp bij mijn kaartfoto’s vandaag, mijn ventje is te ziek. 3. Tuur heeft een manier gevonden om het huis rond te stappen zonder de hulp van een volwassene. 4. Totale ‘blergh’ dag. 5. Deze gebruikt op een layout, de bovenste is nog steeds mijn favoriet. 6. Spelen met tante Karien op opa’s verjaardagsdiner. 7. Pannenkoeken als avondmaal. Yumm!
I’m hoping to be able to find my groove again this week. To be honest I’m lacking motivation at this point too. We’ll see if I can turn this around during the coming weeks. Have a great start to a new week! I’ll see you tomorrow! * Ik hoop deze week weer een beetje mijn ritme te vinden. Om eerlijk te zijn mis ik op dit moment ook wel wat de motivatie. I hadn’t been doing any cards for awhile and yesterday made a few using Sweet Threads paper and the page of sticky embellishments I had purchased. You’ve had a rough start to the year with the sickness running through your house. We’ve had a bit, but I think once they’ve all been in school a couple of years it seems to calm down a bit!
