As promised last week: two weeks worth of Photo-A-Day. I hope you’re up for a photoheavy post – lol. The reason I didn’t post last weeks’ pictures past Sunday, is because we were on a holiday. We went to the Netherlands from Friday to Friday. Just relaxing, and lots of nature and outdoors activities. Here are both weeks:
Today Nora was the lucky one to take Rikki home with her. Rikki is the class mascotte, who can come for a sleepover with all of the kids in class. What an exciting adventure! He’s pretty important, and is loved by all of the kids.
The tipi is almost finished, good enough to try it out. Just a few minor details and then it is ready. I hope to share a post about this project on the blog some time soon (once it’s all finished, of course).
Let’s do this. Packing for four, with unstable weather in the forecast.
A pretty good choice for a 4 year old going on vacation tomorrow.
We’re here! Meeting some of our next door neighbors.
Loving the sun flares in this picture. Proof enough we had the best weather. Watching the koi fish in the pond here.
The awesome bookstands Nora made for Father’s Day. I love them! Too bad they’re not for me.
Visiting a local zoo. Tuur was a trooper, we didn’t bring a stroller and he didn’t get to take a nap.
Because that’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re on holiday.
We rented one of these and took a ride. The kids absolutely loved it.
And of course this is also almost mandatory when you’re on holiday. Lots and lots of good food.
Back home again. Let the washing and drying begin.
Some Saturday afternoon sticker fun. The first time Tuur wanted to do this. He just never liked things sticking onto his fingers before, it annoyed him. And now … he filled the entire page.
Prepping for Nora’s birthday celebration at school. She has her birthday during summer break, but she gets to celebrate it in class anyway before the end of the school year.
On the program for the upcoming week: trying to get back into the swing of things. There are only two weeks of school left, so I’m not really sure that’ll be actually happening. And also trying to find my scrapping groove again. I haven’t been up in my room for almost two weeks, except for some cleaning and flag cutting.
I hope you all have a great new week!
Els.

Hi Els,
Love your photos……….the holiday looks delightful with fun things to do!! It was so fun to follow it with your great pictures!! Nora and Tuur are really growing! We used to have a Teddy Bear that went home each night with kids and it was great fun. Then they wrote in a little journal the adventures of Teddy at their house!
Blessings,
Irene
