Noted Documented | A Flair For Buttons

Happy Monday! July 21st is our National Holiday here in Belgium, so we had an extra day off – and it was very welcome. I took advantage of the extra time for writing up some blogpost for the coming week, and for a bit of crafting in between family activities. Last week I was over on the A Flair For Buttons blog, with this layout, which was very fun to make.

Noted Documented by Els Brigé for A Flair For ButtonsI really loved that picture of our peonies that I shared on my Instagram feed a few weeks ago. And so I made a layout with it. I chose for a bit of contrast with the die-cut flowers. These cut-outs are actually the ones that I used as masks for this Pinkfresh Studio layout I made around that same time. The flairs on this layout are from the Chalkboard Day in my Life set and the Capture Life 1 set.

I made a video to show you guys how I made that painted ombré and glitter background. It’s the first time I chose to work with a voice-over. Yikes! It’ll take me some time to get used to the sound of my own voice;) – especially since I had a cold at that time. Be sure to let me know what you think about it, I’m curious to hear your thoughts.

We have an exciting week to look forward to as our girl is celebrating her birthday on Thursday. Have a great week!

Els.
