Onlangs kwamen er drie nieuwe sets van Els Brigé in de shop. De set ‘echte post’ leent zich heel erg voor superleuke kaartjes. Maar ook de twee andere sets hebben allerlei mogelijkheden in zich. Ik ging aan de slag met de ‘Nee!-set’. Soms zit het niet zo mee in het leven. Er zijn mensen die dan blij worden van een kaartje met een bemoedigende tekst, maar soms kan dat ook een beetje verkeerd vallen. En mag iemand soms ook gewoon even balen? Met iemand in gedachten maakte ik dit kaartje. – Recently, three new sets by Els Brigé came into the shop. The ‘real post’ set is very suitable for super-cute cards. But the two other sets also have all sorts of possibilities. I went to work with the ‘Nee!’ (=no!) set. Sometimes life is not going so well. There are people who will be happy to receive a card with an encouraging text, but sometimes that can also go the wrong way. And is it possible to just feel bad sometimes? I made this card with someone in mind.

Ik stempelde verschillende teksten uit de ‘Nee!-set’ op een smal strookje cardstock. Ook het duimpje en het sippe gezichtje stempelde ik erbij. Langs de zijkanten stanste ik nog een sierrandje. Met een klein randje zwart en twee strookjes DP maakte ik de kaart af. Heel eenvoudig, maar ik vind hem helemaal af. Hier zou een afbeelding zelfs helemaal niet bij passen. – I stamped different texts from the ‘Nee!’ (=no!) set on a narrow strip of cardstock. I also stamped the little thumb and the sad face. Along the sides I embossed a decorative edge. I finished the card with a small black border and two strips of DP. Very simple, but I think it is really finished. It would not even be suitable to add an image.

Een soortgelijke kaart zou je ook makkelijk kunnen maken met de ‘Yes!-set’. Dan heb je een kaart voor iemand die een succeservaring heeft gehad of iets anders positiefs. – You could easily make a similar card with the ‘Yes!’ set. Then you would have a card for someone who has had a successful experience or something else positive.
