Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Today we’re hopping to say a very big thanks to Cath Edvalson, who has said goodbye to the PaperCrafts team and her Moxie Fab blog. As so many of us in the papercrafting world, I have great memories of Moxie Fab Cath, so I definitely wanted to be part of this hop. You should have come here from the blog of Shelly Kurth.
I came across the Moxie Fab blog early on in my papercrafting career. Moxie Fab to me was a great source of inspiration. The ‘Oh My Moxie Fab’ posts and Tuesday Triggers often got me itching to create and try new things. It’s been a while since I found time to enter challenges, but I always loved taking part in the ones from the Moxie Fab blog. There was a supportive community of contestors, with on the first row Cath, who actually took the time to stop by everyone’s blog to leave a comment. As a beginning cardmaker, that is such a gift.
I made a cas thank you card for this occasion. There’s so much I would like to say ‘thank you’ to Cath for. Probably without knowing it, she was such an influence on my papercrafting, my process and confidence. Thank you, Cath!! And good luck to you in your future endeavors.
I used the Fanciful Feathers dies by WPlus9 and used the two larger images. This card so gets 3 layers on top of each other. The pink to red ombre patterned paper is immediately glued down onto the cardfront. On top of that is a piece of cardstock the size of the cardfront, with the larger feather shape cut out from it. Finally the more delicate feather shape went on top with another layer of dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is a gold rub-on by Pebbles.
