This wraps up our Advent Calendar for this year again. All the pockets have been empied, all messages been read. Here’s today’s and final pocket. * Vandaag is de laatste dag van de adventskalender van dit jaar. Alle zakjes zijn leeggemaakt, alle boodschappen gelezen. Hier is het laatste zakje.

I wanted to use these trees on a card as well, so I reduced them to a card size. Consider this my Christmas card for all of you that I didn’t get to send a real one. * Ik wilde de bomen ook een keertje op een kaart gebruiken, dus verkleinde ik ze naar kaartformaat. Dit is mijn kerstkaart voor jullie allemaal, aan wie ik geen persoonlijke kaart kon sturen.
There are a lot of layers to this card, six to be exact. I paid one of my favorite fishermen a visit to get some invisible thread to string the lights up the trees. For the colored stripes at the bottom of the card I used a stamp by Ali Edwards from the Today You set. * Er zijn heel wat lagen op deze kaart, zes om precies te zijn. Ik ging bij één van mijn favoriete vissers langs om een beetje onzichtbaar draad te gaan halen om de lichtjes in de boom te hangen. Voor de rode strepen onderaan de kaart gebruikte ik een stempel van Ali Edwards’ Today You set.
