Masking | Rhodé

Met de nieuwe sets van Els Brigé kun je superveel leuke dingen doen. Er zitten zoveel stempeltjes in! – You can do lots of fun things with the new sets from Els Brigé. There are so many stamps!

Eén van de dingen die ik bijna direct voor ogen had, was een kaart vol huisjes. Om de huisjes allemaal achter en boven elkaar te stempelen, moest ik wel flink aan de slag met masking. – One of the things I had in mind almost immediately was a card full of houses. To stamp all the houses behind and on top of each other, I had to work quite hard with masking.

Ik heb geen officieel masking materiaal, maar ik gebruik hiervoor plakbriefjes. Ik stempelde een aantal huisjes uit de ‘Huisje Boompje set’ op de plakbriefjes en knipte ze uit. – I don’t have any official masking material, but I use sticky notes for this. I stamped a number of houses from the ‘Huisje Boompje set’ on the sticky notes and cut them out.

Ik begon onderaan de kaart met het stempelen van de huisjes en werkte langzaam naar boven. Waar nodig gebruikte ik een masking papiertje zodat de huisjes niet over elkaar heen gestempeld werden. – I started at the bottom of the card by stamping the houses and slowly worked my way up. Where necessary, I used masking paper to prevent the houses from being stamped over each other.

De tekst, uit de set ‘Een nieuw huis’ maakte ik op een cirkel van kraft. Ik liet het wit en zwart van de achtergrond terugkomen in de tekst. – The text, from the set ‘een nieuw huis’ I made on a circle of kraft. I let the white and black of the background come back in the text.
