Kristina Werner’s Color Inspiration

Hi,

I decided to take part in the Color Inspiration Challenge by Kristina Werner. Not a good plan!! Hee! This must have been the most difficult color combination ever! For me, I mean. It’s a combo I just don’t own, I could have never picked it out myself.

Ik besliste deel te nemen aan de Color Inspiration challenge van Kristina Werner. Niet zo’n goed plan – lol!! Dit moet de moeilijkste kleurencombinatie ooit zijn! Voor mij dan toch. Het is een combinatie die mij niet eigen is, die ik zelf nooit zou bedenken.

I wanted to challenge myself and give it a go anyway. Since I had almost no matching patterned paper for these colors, it’s pretty much an all stamping card. I’m not too satisfied with the way it turned out.

Ik wou mezelf toch uitdagen en het er toch op wagen. Aangezien ik bijna geen dessinpapier had voor deze kleuren, werd het een bijna volledig gestempelde kaart. Ik ben echter niet zo tevreden met het resultaat.

I won this  bird and flowers stamp set when Inkurable Stampers celebrated its birthday a few weeks ago. This was my first time using it. It’s an unmounted rubber sheet, and my local craft store just doens’t hold any mounting foam. So I used removable adhesive. Very messy!

Ik won deze vogel en bloemen stempellap enkele weken geleden bij de verjaardagsviering van Inkurable Stampers. Het is mijn eerste keer dat ik hem gebruikte. Het is een niet-gemonteerde stempel, en mijn lokale hobbywinkel blijkt geen montagetape te hebben. Dus ik gebruikte niet-permanente kleefband. Wat een gedoe!

Some of the blossoms have a pale pink pearl. So that leaves us with the six inspiration colors. The green stripe is stamped with a stamp from the Today You set by Ali Edwards and colored in with a white gelpen.

Sommige bloesems kregen een zacht roze parel. Daarmee zijn alle inspiratiekleuren aanwezig. De groene streep werd gestempeld met een stempel van de Today You set van Ali Edwards en ingekleurd met een witte gelpen.
