Koningspost/Royal mail | Willeke

Hallo allemaal, vandaag kleurt Nederland Oranje! Het is vandaag koningsdag dus een groot feest. Ik ben wel benieuwd hoeveel verjaardagskaarten de koning via de post krijgt. Ik denk dat de scooter op deze kaart een beetje te klein is voor dit soort gelegenheden. Wat denken jullie? Maar niet te min blijft deze poststempels zo leuk om te gebruiken. Helaas moet ik iets bekennen. Ik ben eigenlijk wel een beetje stout geweest. Ik heb namelijk het kleine envelopje losgeknipt van de woord stempel. Zo kon ik de envelopjes beter stempelen. Maar niet doorvertellen hoor. 😉 – Hi all, the Netherlands turn orange today. It’s King’s Day today, so there’s a big celebration. I’m curious how many birthday cards the king receives in the mail. I think the scooter on this card might be too small for that type of celebrations. What do you think? But anyways, this mail stamp is so fun to use. But I have a confession to make. I cut the little envelope apart from the rest of the stamp, so it was easier to stamp on my card. Don’t tell anyone 😉

Verder heb ik de stempelafdrukjes ingekleurd met Copic markers en ook uitgestanst. Om het wat diepte te geven heb ik ze extra opgehoogd. De streepjes en de envelopjes heb ik met inkt gestempeld in de kleuren die ik vrolijk vond staan bij de afdrukjes. Qua papier heb ik eigenlijk maar een dun strookje zwart horizontaal geplakt en toen was deze vrolijke kaart alweer klaar. – I colored the stamped images with my Copic markers and die-cut them. To add some depth I adhered some extra layers. I stamped the stripes and envelopes in colors of ink that looked fun along with the stamped image. Just a small strip of black cardstock and then this cheerful card was done.

Ik ga onze spullen pakken voor de markt. De kinderen willen heel graag geld verdienen. Gelijk hebben ze! – I’m off to gather our stuff for the market. The kids want to make some money. Thery’re right!
