A week or two ago, I had an order (or maybe two;)) of new products delivered at my doorstep. Inside, amongst a bunch of other awesome goodies, was the Banners embossing folder from Dear Lizzy’s Daydreamer collection. I usually don’t do a lot of dry embossing, I own about two folders. I’m not always a fan of the look of it, but wanted to give this embossing thing another try. Good thing my mother celebrated her birthday over the weekend.
I’m in love! Yes … again. I adore how the background turned out and might have to try a few other things with it. The big cake is from BasicGrey’s RSVP collection. I added some glitter to it – not totally happy with how this turned out, I think I might have to try out one of those Winks of Stella pens one day. The sequins in the background are rub-ons by Heidi Swapp. They’re just too cute and come in a variety of colors and sizes. Love them!Supplies:
Stamps: Rainy Day – Studio Calico; Ink: Coral Bay Dye Ink – Studio Calico; Misc.: RSVP die-cut – BasicGrey, Jelly Dots – Delishbeads, confetti rub-ons – Heidi Swapp; Tools: Banner embossing folder – Dear Lizzy.
