A week or two ago, I had an order (or maybe two;)) of new products delivered at my doorstep. Inside, amongst a bunch of other awesome goodies, was the Banners embossing folder from Dear Lizzy’s Daydreamer collection. I usually don’t do a lot of dry embossing, I own about two folders. I’m not always a fan of the look of it, but wanted to give this embossing thing another try. Good thing my mother celebrated her birthday over the weekend.
I’m in love! Yes … again. I adore how the background turned out and might have to try a few other things with it. The big cake is from BasicGrey’s RSVP collection. I added some glitter to it – not totally happy with how this turned out, I think I might have to try out one of those Winks of Stella pens one day. The sequins in the background are rub-ons by Heidi Swapp. They’re just too cute and come in a variety of colors and sizes. Love them!
Are you an embossing folder fan? Or rather sceptic?
Els.

Hi Els
Oooooh, I love your new embossing folder. Of course, in your hands , it has to be good! I do like embossing folders and have a “few” 🙂 I like them with patterned paper too for texture and dimension backgrounds.
Love your card!!
Blessings

Herken je terughoudendheid met droogembossing. Dit kaartje is echt geweldig, maar doet mij ook eerder denken aan letterpress dan embossing! Gaaf!
