Hallo allemaal! – Hi all!

Vandaag pakte ik de mooie stempels van Els in mijn hand. Mijn oog viel op een klein rechthoek stempeltje bij de Vintage nummers stempelset. Het is bij deze stempel de bedoeling dat je bijvoorbeeld de dag of de maand erin kan stempelen. Maar dat hoeft natuurlijk niet alleen. Ik koos ervoor om er een achtergrondje van te maken. – Today I grabbed Els’ lovely stamps, and my eye fell on that little rectangular stamp on the Vintage numbers stamp set. This stamp is meant to add the day or month to it, but there are more options. I chose to make a background with it.

Bij deze kaart heb je alleen zwart en wit cardstock nodig. De basiskaart is 10.5 bij 15 cm.  Ik sneed nog een velletje wit cardstock af van 10,5 bij 15 cm waar ik twee driehoeken uit heb gesneden. Deze driehoeken tekende ik af op zwart papier en sneed hem dan net iets groter af zodat er een zwart randje ontstaat. – For this card I only needed white and black cardstock. The base card is 10.5 x 15cm. I cut another sheet of white cardstock of 10.5 x 15cm, from which I then cut two triangles. I drew these triangles on some black cardstock and cut the black paper a bit larger to add a black border.

De twee witte driehoeken bestempelde ik met de kleine rechthoek stempel. Net zo lang tot dat ik tevreden was. Ik koos twee kleuren uit mijn Copic collectie en kleurde de vakjes naar wens in. Toen ik tevreden was plakte ik de witte driehoek op het zwarte driehoek en dan vervolgens weer op de kaart. De tekst van de kaart komt uit de Joepie stempelset. ‘Joepie!’ heb ik gestempeld en gestanst. ‘Dit is jouw grote dag’ heb ik alleen gestempeld op de kaart zelf. – I covered the 2 white triangles with the small rectangular stamp until I like the look of it. I then chose 2 Copic markers from my collection and added color to some of the boxes. I then adhered the white triangles to the black one, and then added everything to the card. The sentiments are from the Joepie! (=yippee!) stamp set. I stamped and die-cut the ‘Joepie!’ word, and added a smaller sentiment, saying ‘this is your big day’ onto the card itself.
