Hi,
For today’s card I started off with the sketch of 2S4Y. I got really inspired by the Embellish Magazine color challenge (light aqua, kraft and light pink), so I had to incorporate stitching in my card. I made another tissue flower, but this time I colored it with Distress and Chalk ink. In the center I adhered some pearls. With adding a lace border, this card can be entered in Caarvarks‘ Lacy Days Challenge. I will enter this card for the Spring Challenge on the A Passion for Papertrey blog as well.
Voor de kaart van vandaag ging ik van start met de 2S4Y schets. Ik voelde me heel erg geïnspireerd door de kleuren van de Embellish Magazine challenge, dus moest ik ook met de naaimachine aan de slag. Ik maakte nog een bloem, maar kleurde ze deze keer met Distress en Chalk inkt. In het midden bracht ik een paar parels aan. Door een kanten boordje aan te brengen, kan ik met deze kaart ook meedoen aan de Lacy Days challenge van Caardvarks. Tenslotte zal ik deze kaart ook insturen voor de lentechallenge op de A Passion for Papertrey blog.

Wow, this is amazing! I too have been playing around with the tissue paper flowers, don’t you just love how delicate they look. And the bow placement is PERFECT! The loops act as leaves. LOVE it!!
