Yesterday the November Sketch Challenge went up on Sketchbook365, Scrap365’s challenge blog. Here’s the sketch to work with:

And here’s my layout. I used one bigger picture of baby Tuur, instead of 3 smaller pictures. I used BasicGrey’s Lucille collection, an amazing collection with fabulous, warm colors. So up my alley.

I partlialy cut around the big flowers on the patterned paper to slide my picture and photo mats underneath. I just went around the edges with an exacto knife to make the cut as clean as possible. I added some sparkle onto some areas of the blooms. I’m so addicted to glitter these days.

In the upper right corner I used one of these banners from the Lucille collection. The colors and designs on these banner are so gorgeous Furthermore I added some masking tape and a border sticker.

I wanted to use a warm red for my title as well, and turned to this Paintable Word from Prima that had been living in my stash for ages. I always meant to use it on the cover of an album, but it found its spot right here on this layout. I misted it with Candy Apple and Cranberry Zing Glimmer Mist. Finally it also got some sparkle.
