Een lieve knuffel/A sweet hug | Willeke

Hallo allemaal. De dag van de liefde komt eraan. Daarom wou ik in deze blogpost wat liefde naar jullie uit stralen. Dit kaartje vind ik stijlvol in eenvoud. Het is niet moeilijk om te maken daarom maakt het zo leuk. – Hi all. Valentine’s Day is upon us, so in this blogpost I wanted to send you all some love. This card is stylish in its’ simplicity, I think. It’s easy to make.

De basis kaart is 10,5 bij 15 cm. Zoals je ziet heb ik de grote bloem uit de ranonkel stempelset gebruikt. Maar voordat ik deze mooie bloem ging stempelen heb ik een mask gemaakt door een grote hart te stanzen en het hart (gat) te gebruiken als mal. Ik leg dit op mijn kaart en probeerde hem te positioneren waar ik hem wilde hebben. Dan tape ik hem voor tijdelijk even vast zodat hij niet gaat verschuiven op mijn kaart. – The base card is 10.5 x 10.5 cm. I used the large Ranunculus stamp, but before starting to stamp, I made a mask by punching out a large heart from some cardstock and use this as an overlay. I positioned it on my card and temporarily adhered it so it wouldn’t move around while working.

Nu kan je gaan stempelen. Ik probeerde in mijn achterhoofd te houden dat ik de oppervlakte van het hart helemaal vol wilde stempelen zodat het hart mooi naar voren komt als ik het stencil weer weghaal. Ben je tevreden? Haal je mask dan maar weg. Het is altijd wel weer spannend hoe het er dan uit komt te zien. – I then started stamping. I tried to keep in mind that I wanted to fill up the heart as much as possible, so that it would stand out well when I removed the stencil. Are you happy with the result, then remove the mask. It’s always exciting to see the end result.

Op een strookje papier heb ik de tekst gestempeld. Deze komt uit de Joepie stempelset. Het strookje heb ik met dubbelzijdig foamtape vastgeplakt. Nu nog even wat bling bling erbij en dan is hij af. – On a strip of paper I stamped a sentiment, saying ‘a sweet hug for you’. I adhered this small piece of paper with dimensional adhesive on my card and added some bling to finish it all up.
