Easter Egg Containers | Studio Tekturek

Happy Sunday! How are you doing today? I have a fun Easter project for you. I saw a similar project on Pinterest a while back with yummy little muffins in boxes like these. I thougth it would be a fun idea to make two of these small egg containers for my kids for Easter. They’ll be great with chocolate eggs in them.

I was lucky enough to have beautiful yellow containers, but you can easily paint these in any color you would like using acrylic paint. The ombré yellow woodgrain paper from the Sweet Memories collection matched the color of the containers perfectly. I liked the tone-on-tone woodgrain effect. As I have a boy and a girl in the house, I made a pink and aqua version. The fox wood veneers from Freckled Fawn add to the boy-girl theme.

Since the top of these containers was super small, it all had to be tiny and to the point. I know my girl will like this pink Dear Lizzy flower, and a heart always does it. For the boy I added a label from Elle’s Studio. The gold touches make is all extra festive.

All patterned papers are from Studio Tekturek’s Sweet Memories collection. And now I’m off, before I throw myself onto those chocolate eggs. I just have to stop staring at them;)
