December Daily Part 3

Welcome back! Today I’m sharing the third and last part of my December Daily album. If you would like to have a look at the previous parts, here’s part 1 and part 2 for you. I’m about to show you the last 10 days of the month. For Christmas day, I just had to use a picture of the cute nativity scene Tuur made at school. He and a girl from his class dressed up as Joseph and Mary. They look so adorable.

We spent Christmas Eve at my parent’s house, like every year. I took this picture when we were about to eat, gathering up around the table. The black-and-white pictures allowed me to stamp in white ink directly onto the picture. I really love this subtle look. The stamps are from Ali Edwards, I used white StazOn ink to stamp.

The pictures for the 26th might look familiar, as I also used it on my challenge layout for Studio Tekturek this month. On the lower picture of this day I used a Studio Calico rub-on. For the 28th a stack of diapers, as we’re officialy a diaper-free house since the end of December.

Diapers, a new printer, … You already noticed by now that my December Daily album is as much an everyday life album as it is a Holiday album. I also wanted to include all the ordinary daily things of our December.

And this finishes up my December Daily album for 2013. I’m kind of proud to have finished it this time. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. As you might have noticed there’s no journaling in my album. I started it at first, but didn’t like the look of it, and so took it all away again. I did insert one of these Calendar Pocket insert by BasicGrey, to which I added an overview of the month with all journaling I wanted to include.

And after finishing this album I ‘m starting to dream about summer again. Thanks for stopping by today!
