Welcome to the BasicGrey Knee Highs and Bow Ties Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from the blog of Marinette.
Awe, those playground days—a time full of wonderment and imagination. BasicGrey has captured that energy and excitement in these two coordinating lines. The rough and tumble look of Bow Ties will liven up your crafty toy box, with its vibrant shades of leap-frog green, red-rover red, freeze-tag teal, and more. And the playful motifs in this line, which include tools, cars, creepy-crawlies and rocket ships, will rev your creative engine and as your project ideas soar to new heights.
Looking for a bit more sugar and spice? Knee Highs will put a smile on your face with its rainbow brights and fanciful florals.
I chose to work with the Knee Highs collection for today’s blog hop, although I’m a big fan of the Bow Ties collection as well. But today I wanted bright and fun colors. My first intention was to turn to the vibrant pink papers, but then my eye fell on that gorgeous yellow diamond paper.
Just as any other BasicGrey collection, this one also has some amazing chipboard shapes and element stickers, which makes it really easy to embellish your page. I love the small sentences, the butterflies, and the border stickers to add texture and interest to my layout.
The beautiful sun image makes for the title of my layout. I found this one in my Snippets booklet. For the Knee Highs and Bow Ties collections the Snippets have a cute scalloped border. Finally I added some Candy Buttons to finish up my page.
