I’m back! Sorry for being MIA for a couple of days. I was planning on posting tuesday evening as regular, but I had been feeling off all day. And when coming home, I discovered I had not been the only one who picked up a bug. We’re all feeling better again. And so here I am, sharing a card I made for Studio Tekturek with you today. I had a lot of fun making this one.
I again used the triangles paper from the Sweet Memories collection. I’m still madly in love with that paper. The color combo just makes me swoon. For this card I trimmed out a couple of strips of the patterned paper and cut them into arrow shapes. After arranging these strips onto my card front, I attached them with just a little bit of adhesive so they would stay in place while running the card through my sewing machine. Once the arrows were well secured, I slightly lifted the sides of each of them, to give the card more dimension. I think the texture on this card turned out really wonderful.
The ‘And I Said’ banner was trimmed out from one of the die-cuts from the Sweet Memories collection. I added just a few more embellishments and a stamped sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!
Els.
