This week 11 will go in our history books as the week Tuur started to talk. Last week he had only words, half words. Just one at a time. This week he all of a sudden started to put those words together. They’re still just half words, but he’s trying to make sentences with them. Not the 2 word sentences you would expect, no, he just wants to skip those. He’s just so adorable. Here’s the rest of our week 11. * Deze week 11 zal bij ons de geschiedenis ingaan als de week dat Tuur begon te praten. Vorige week had hij alleen nog maar woordjes, halve woordjes. Eentje tegelijkertijd. Deze week begon hij opeens zijn woordjes aan elkaar te breien. Het zijn nog steeds maar halve woordjes, maar bij probeert er zinnen mee te maken. Niet de 2 woordzinnetjes die je zou verwachten, nee, die wil hij overslaan. Zo schattig. Hier is de rest van onze week 11.Closing up week of hearts at school. Now she knows all about hearts, love, being in love, etc. * Afronden van de hartjesweek op school. Nu weet ze alles over hartjes, liefde, verliefdheid, enz.

Gorgeous morning sky. * Prachtige ochtendlucht.

Fun day with Maura again. Nora loved feeding her. She was so proud. * Leuke dag met Maura. Nora vond het heel fijn om haar te eten te kunnen geven. Ze was zo trots.

Relaxing on the couch in their pj’s after bathtime, watching a little television. There are usually just two moments in a week when they get to watch some television. No need to say, they’re all caught up then. * Lekker relaxen in de zetel in hun pyama’s na badtijd, een beetje televisie kijkend. Er zijn doorgaans maar twee momenten in de week dat ze wat televisie kijken. Dat ze er dan ook helemaal in opgaan, hoeft ik jullie niet te vertellen.

So happy with her new doll. * Zo blij met haar nieuwe pop.

I scored a few fabulous cups on a local flea market for storing small items in my scraproom. This one is my favourite. * Ik vond op een retrobeurs een paar mooie kopjes om kleine spulletjes in te bewaren in mijn scrapkamertje. Dit is mijn favoriet.

Enjoying his new pacifier. He needed to try it out first. This is his normal way, putting the tag of his rag underneath it. * Genietend van zijn nieuwe tut. Hij moest ze eerst een keertje uitproberen. Dit is zijn gewoonlijke manier, met het briefje van zijn doekje eronder gepropt.

Week 12 promises just the ordinary so far, which is totally fine for me. We’ll see what it brings. Have a great week! * Week 12 belooft het gewone alledaagse leven tot nu toe, waar ik helemaal niet rouwig om ben. We zien wel wat er komt. Prettige week!
